CB2008 Thursday Night
Well, it's actually now Friday morning. We survived the day long drive to Tulsa, and Thursday night at the Chili Bowl.
My Take...
-The track crews, officials, and push truck drivers know how to move the program along! The show was over a little after 10 pm.
-Brad Kuhn looked very strong in winning the A Feature, driving for Dr. Kenneth Love. I always enjoy it when Nebraska based cars run well.
-My pick to win, Shane Cottle gave Kuhn a good run, but eventually finished second.
-Defending event champ Tony Stewart came home 5th.
-Brad Loyet had a very solid outing, starting 18th in the A and finishig 11th.
-Another tough night for JJ Yeley. Looks like an alphabet soup run for him on Saturday. Seems like JJ never has much in the way of luck when he runs in Tulsa.
-Eagle regular Tadd Holliman finished 8th in the Last Chance #4 race, and Ryan Durst from Lincoln finished 22nd in the A.
After the show, it was a pretty quiet night for the three of us. We came back to the hotel and fell asleep. I think tonight promises a more interesting look at the post-race festivities.
Stay tuned.
