PRESS RELEASE-Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) joins Junction Motor Speedway as Title Sponsor of the 4th Annual Cornhusker Midget Challenge

The NeCGA will play a major role in and will be very visible at the 4th Annual O’Reilly POWRi Cornhusker Midget Challenge by Lucas Oil. The 2-day motor sports challenge is set for Tuesday-July 29th and Wednesday-July 30th at Nebraska’s-Junction Motor Speedway. The match was perfect for the Corn Growers of Nebraska to team up with Junction Motor Speedway. The race track is located in the heart of the nation’s corn industry, the area has some major ethanol production facilities nearby and the ‘Cornhusker’ portion of the Midget Challenge title certainly is fitting to the message of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association. The Cornhusker Challenge brings the nation’s best equipment and drivers to Junction Motor Speedway as they vie for the twin ‘Cornhusker Crystal & Chrome’ trophies. Tuesday night’s winner will receive $3,000 while the Wednesday night Champion will cash in on a $5,000 to win victory.

The mission of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association is to enhance and expand the use, marketing, and efficient production of corn, and to do everything within the capability of the association that will benefit the Nebraska corn producer. The NeCGA provides the Nebraska corn producer an effective voice on both the state and national level. Growers’ interests are represented in the Unicameral and on Washington’s Capitol Hill. The Nebraska Corn Growers Association recognizes that the livestock industry is the corn producer’s #1 in-state market. NeCGA supports responsible livestock production in the state and is working with other ag organizations for the betterment of all.

The Nebraska Corn Growers Association strives to educate consumers and promote the benefits of corn products. NeCGA is working to create positive perceptions and is standing up for corn growers across the state.
