Matthew Stelzer will make his third appearance of the 2008 season at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA, for Knoxville Mid-States 305 Sprint Championship on September 25 - 27.

In the past two trips to the famous half mile, Stelzer has recorded two top ten finishes in with a 8th place finish on July 4th and a 9th place on May 30th, where he was named the Hard Charger.

Stelzer will be running a newly released 305 wing from GMS Wings for the upcoming event. “I want to thank Steve Grossenbacher for sponsoring me and giving me the chance to run his new 305 wing” says Stelzer.

“I want to thank Matt Schmitz for building one heck of a sprint car engine” says Stelzer. “I also would like to thank Mark Burch Motorsports, Ryan Roberts, Chad Nolte from Nolte Repair, and Jim Clifford from Clifford Cycles for all their help this season and getting us back out on the track.”
