Foyt IV faces DUI charge

Indy-car driver A.J. Foyt IV is scheduled to appear in a Mecklenburg County, N.C., court April 9 to face a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Foyt, who lives in Huntersville, N.C., was arrested Dec. 10 for failing to yield to a stop light. He posted a $1,000 bond.

Foyt, 22, has 48 career Indy-car starts. He is expected to drive the third entry of Vision Racing this season. Team officials, including owner Tony George, were not immediately available for comment.

I hope that this doesn't become a trend with the Fourth. I hate to see anyone get pulled over for this type of thing, especially when it's someone who drives professionally.
