Wavelink Raceway Park Canned Food Drive

FREE ADMISSION Sunday Aug. 19th with each donation to the Food Bank of Lincoln!

Sunday, August 19th, Wavelink Raceway Park, along with theMidwest Micro Sprint Association, will hold a canned food drive to benefit The Food Bank of Lincoln/LPS BackPack Program.

Everyone who donates a can of food or other non-perishable food item will get FREE grandstand admission for a full night of Micro Sprint racing.

Items on the “wish list” for the BackPack Program include:
18 oz. grape jelly
18 oz. peanut butter
26 oz. Spaghettios
11.5 oz. juice concentrate (non frozen or refrigerated)
14 or 15 oz. boxes of Cheerios
18 oz. cans of fruit
1 pound package of rice
32 oz. complete pancake mix (just add water)
24 oz. bottles of syrup
6 oz. cans of tuna fish (packed in water)
7.25 oz. Tuna Helper
16 oz. cans of refried beans

So come one, come all, bring one (can), bring all (in yourpantry) and join us for a great night of Micro Sprint racing and help out those that really need it!

When: Sunday, August 19th
Time: Hot Laps start at 6:30 p.m.
Place: Wavelink Raceway Park, just ½ mile East of theI-80/Waverly interchange.
