293 Pre-Entries for 2009 Chili Bowl

I didn't think there were 293 midgets in existence, but apparently there are.

Lonnie Wheatley keeps us up-to-date on all the latest entries to the 2009 Chili Bowl. It appears there is a very good chance last year's record mark of 274 participants will be eclipsed.

So much for the sluggish economy keeping teams at home.

Wheatley also reports that Terry McCarl will take the remaining seat in the Wilk-Pak stable. McCarl will drive the 11T entry and joins teammates Dave Darland, Jerry Coons Jr. and Tim McCreadie.
