Possible USAC Midget event at Butler County Motorplex

Sometimes wishes do come true! Just yesterday in my Wish List post, I stated that I wanted to see more midget shows in Nebraska next season.

Ask and ye shall receive.

I was told by a very reliable source that Butler County Motorplex is in talks with USAC about a possible National Midget Series show prior to the Belleville Nationals. If they're able to put something together it would be a nice addition to the local race season.

If they're not able to confirm a USAC date, they will run a midget show similar last season's "Kornhusker Midget Klassic".

Butler County Motorplex has their 2009 schedule posted that includes a September 11th tribute program featuring 360 sprints and modifieds.
